‘JAI GURUDEV’

Chaithanya Trust is formed by few individuals, inspired by the vision of Guruji Sri Rishi Prabhakar, Bangalore, founder of Siddha Samadhi Yoga. The main object of the Trust is to preserve the valuable ancient heritage of India. The Trust is running an educational institution in the name of Chaithanya Vidyalaya, imparting education based on Indian values.

The Trust is a non-profitable charitable organisation, registered on 1-7-2006 at sub Registrar's Office at Kasaragod of Kerala State, India., Chaithanya Trust has been granted approval under section 80-G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act by the Commissioner of Income Tax, Kannur on 2-5-2009. Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi has granted the Trust registration under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 by issuing registration No.052920012. The Trust is also accreditated by National Institute of Open Schooling, dept. of education, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India under open basic education program, as per NIOS accreditation No: OB0905612.

The Trust at present owns 4.25 acres of land near Uliyathadka, of Kasaragod District which is named as Rishikshethra. The foundation stone of the main building 'Rishi Mandiram' is laid on this property by Shri Prasad Guruji, of Mangalore on 6th May, 2009. The construction work of ground & first floor of the 'Rishi mandiram" building to house the vidyalaya activities is complete. This construction includes 2 halls measuring about 1500 sq/ft, 14 rooms measuring 500 sq/ft each, 2 rooms measuring 750 sq/ft, 4 rooms measuring about 250 sq/ft each with 2 mtr wide veranda. The building is rectangle in shape with an open yard of about 2500 sq/ft at the centre. This building is inaugurated on 06-05-2011 by Poojya Guruji Sri Rishi Prabhakar, Bangalore. Swami Parahithanandaji Maharaj of Ramakrishna ashram, Mysore presided over the function and unveiled the statue of Swami Vivekananda erected inside the building.

The Trust has plans to acquire more lands to start a residential school, an orphanage, an old age home and a Centre for Yoga and Vedic studies along with other social welfare activities.

The total project cost estimated in the year 2010 is Rs.990 lakhs out of which about 300 lakhs has been invested with the honest participation of many well-wishers of the Trust.

The Goushala project of the trust is inaugurated on 14-11-2012, on the day of Goupooja. Free midday meal(Annaprasadam) is being given to all students, Teachers and visitors at Rishikshethra.

The Trust is raising funds required for the project through donations and also through loans by executing necessary documents.
